New update for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

With this update, our main focus is to make gold cards more interactive and introduce friend matches on consoles. The update also adds 30 new cards, social features, in-game news and notification system to the PC version, and numerous gameplay changes.

The following cards will have increased milling value for 3 days following the release of the patch (more on this below):

The cards on the list, when milled, will create an amount of scraps and meteorite powder equal to the amount of scraps and meteorite powder needed to craft a card of the same value.

Northern Realms[]

  • Foltest: Power changed from 5 to 4. Now Boosts all Loyal Units (previously Bronzes or Silvers only), wherever they are except Graveyard (previously only in Hand and Deck). Added Crewmen: 1.   • Philippa Eilhart: Added Redania Tag. Premium Philippa will now have her braids properly displayed.
  • Priscilla: Power changed from 4 to 6. Added additional ability - Deploy: Gain 3 Armor. Will now be able to target self and other Golds. Clarified the tooltip. Added Support Tag.

  • Reinforcement: Will be restricted to Soldier, Machine, Officer or Support Units (among Bronzes or Silvers). (previously played any Bronze or Silver Unit). Added Tactic Tag.
  • Thaler: General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description. Added Agent and Temeria Tags.
  • Trollololo: Power changed from 8 to 11. Ability rework; Every turn, at the start of your turn, gain 2 Armor. Will gain 4 (instead of 5) Armor on Deploy. Removed Trio ability from the game. Added Soldier and Redania Tags. Slowed down the way Trollololo enters his Premium animation.
  • Ves: Power changed from 7 to 8. Ability rework; Deploy: You may Mulligan a card. If you have a Soldier or an Officer in your Hand, Mulligan up to 2 cards instead. If you have both, Mulligan up to 3 cards instead. Removed Trio ability from the game. Now Agile (was Melee). Removed Blue Stripes Tag. Added Soldier and Temeria Tags.
  • Ballista: Will now Damage up to 4 (instead of 3) random Enemies with the same Power by 1.
  • Blue Stripes Commando: Removed Trio ability from the game. Removed Blue Stripes Tag. Added Soldier and Temeria Tags. Added sound effects to Blue Stripes Commandos' Premium versions.
  • Blue Stripes Scout: Power changed from 6 to 3. Ability rework; Deploy: Boost by 1 this Unit and all Bronze Loyal Temerian Units with the same Power in your Hand, Deck or on your side of the Board. Removed Armor. Removed Blue Stripes Tag. Added Soldier and Temeria Tags.
  • Dun Banner Heavy Cavalry: Power changed from 4 to 8. Will remove Armor from 1 (instead of 2) Units. Added Soldier and Kaedwen Tags.
  • Dun Banner Light Cavalry: Added Soldier and Kaedwen Tags. Slowed down the way Dun Banner Light Cavalry enters his Premium animation.
  • Field Medic: Power changed from 4 to 6. Added Support Tag.
  • Kaedweni Sergeant: Power changed from 3 to 7. Ability rework (resembling old Blue Stripes Scout); Deploy: Gain 2 Armor and clear Weather from the row on your side. Added Officer and Kaedwen Tags.
  • Kaedweni Siege Platform: Name change; Kaedweni Siege Master (from Platform). Power changed from 3 to 5. Essentially same ability (clarified the tooltip). It will state that it additionally affects Silver Machines (there aren't any at the moment). Clarified the tooltip to state that the ability is Northern Realms Machines restricted.   • Reaver Hunter: Removed Trio ability from the game. Added Soldier and Redania Tags. Added sound effects to Reaver Hunters' Premium versions.
  • Redanian Knight: Power changed from 6 to 7. Added Soldier and Redania Tags. Slowed down the way Redanian Knight enters his Premium card.
  • Redanian Knight-Elect: Power changed from 5 to 6. Added Soldier and Redania Tags. Added additional movement to Redanian-Knight Elect Premium.
  • Reinforced Siege Tower: Power changed from 6 to 8. Ability rework; Deploy: If you have any Machines in your Hand, Boost self by 2. Fresh Crew changed to Repeat the Deploy ability (instead of Boost self by 3).
  • Temerian Infantryman: Clarified the tooltip. Added Soldier and Temeria Tags. Added sound effects to Temerian Infantrymen Premium versions.
  • Tridam Infantryman: Added additional ability; If you have any Officers in your Hand, gain 4 Armor and Boost self by 2 instead. Added Soldier Tag.

Monsters[]

  • Dagon: General change; Doomed and Stubborn are no longer tags, but abilities in card's description. General change; Removed Leader tokens from Leader card preview. Readded Vodyanoi Tag.
  • Eredin: Added Wild Hunt Longship to the game. General change; Doomed and Stubborn are no longer tags, but abilities in card's description. General change; Removed Leader tokens from Leader card preview.
  • Unseen Elder: General change; Doomed and Stubborn are no longer tags, but abilities in card's description. General change; Removed Leader tokens from Leader card preview. Clarified the tooltip.
  • Caranthir: Power changed from 9 to 8. Will now move 1 (instead of 3) Enemy Unit(s).
  • Caretaker: Clarified the tooltip to specifically state that the ability affects Bronzes or Silvers.
  • Draug: Power changed from 7 to 8. Ability rework; Deploy: Spawn a Draugir on a random row on the side of each player with at least one Bronze or Silver Card in their Graveyard. Added Officer Tag.
  • Draugir: Added as Draug's Token. 1 Strength, Agile, Bronze. Doomed. Stubborn. Banish a Bronze or Silver card from this side's Graveyard. If it's a Unit, copy its Power as base Power. If it's a Special card, Strengthen self by 4.
  • Ge'els: Power changed from 2 to 1. Added Officer Tag.
  • Imlerith: Power changed from 8 to 9. Added Officer Tag.
  • Kayran: Power changed from 8 to 4. Ability rework; Deploy: Consume a Unit with 6 or less Power. If there is no eligible Unit, Boost self by 8.
  • Succubus: Power changed from 5 to 4. Now Loyal-only. Will move the Highest Unit on the opposite (instead of same, due to her being Loyal now) row to your side. Clarified the tooltip.
  • Woodland Spirit: General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description (applies to Rabid Wolf).
  • Water Hag: Name change; Abaya (was Water Hag). Will spawn Arachas Venom instead of Lacerate.
  • Frightener: Power changed from 10 to 12. Added Agent Tag. General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description.
  • Fire Elemental: Name change; Ifrit (was Fire Elemental). General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description (applies to Lesser Fire Elemental).
  • Manticore: Name change; Imperial Manticore (was Manticore). Imperial Manticore Power changed from 9 to 12. Removed the ability. Changed flavor text.
  • Jotunn: Will move 3 Enemies, regardless of their Positioning (previously adjacent ones). Added additional ability; If that row is affected by Frost, Damage them by 3 instead.
  • Katakan: Clarified the tooltip to specifically state that the ability affects Bronzes or Silvers.
  • Monster Nest: Will Boost by 3 (instead of 2). Added Rotfiend.
  • Morvudd: Added, taking Fiend's Silver spot and ability. Will round up (Fiend used to round down).
  • Grave Hag: Name change; Mourntart (was Grave Hag). Added additional ability; Deploy: Gain 2 Armor. Clarified the tooltip to specifically state that the ability affects Bronzes or Silvers. Changed flavor text.
  • Nithral: Power changed from 7 to 5. Ability rework; Deploy: Damage an Enemy by 5. If you have any Wild Hunt Units in your Hand, Damage it by 7 instead. Added Officer Tag.
  • Shadow: Power changed from 7 to 4. Now Melee (was Agile). Ability rework; Deploy: Play a Bronze Monster Deathwish Unit from your Deck. Shuffle the others back.
  • Giant Toad: Name change; Toad Prince (was Giant Toad). Will Draw the top card first, and then Consume a chosen card from your Hand (previously Consumed first and then Drew a top card). Will Boost self by 5 (previously by 0), if it's a Special card.
  • Arachas: Arachas Behemoth is no longer spawning Arachasae, but Arachas Hatchlings instead.
  • Arachas Behemoth: Won't spawn Arachas, but Arachas Hatchlings instead. Arachas Hatchling, unlike old Arachas has Doomed ability and is Agile, therefore it'll be spawned on a random row. Adjusted Arachas Behemoth tooltip.
  • Arachas Hatchling: Added, replacing Arachas as Arachas Behemoth's Token. 3 Strength, Agile. Doomed Deploy: Play all Arachasae from your Deck.
  • Archgriffin: Power changed from 7 to 8. Added additional ability (resembling old Griffin); Move a Bronze card from one Graveyard to the other.
  • Celaeno Harpy: Power changed from 3 to 5. Harpy Egg will Boost its Consumer by 4 (instead of 5). Deathwish will Spawn a Harpy Hatchling (instead of a Harpy). General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description.
  • Harpy Hatchling: Added, replacing Harpy as Celaeno Harpy's Token. 1 Strength, Agile. Doomed.
  • Chort: Removed as standalone Monsters card. Still Remains as Prize-Winning Cow Token. Power changed from 6 to 7. Removed the Ability.
  • Drowner: Power changed from 8 to 7. Will now Damage moved Enemy by 2 or 4 if it's under any Weather effect after being moved (previously only moved both players' units).
  • Earth Elemental: General change; Doomed is no longer a tag, but an ability in card's description (applies to Lesser Earth Elemental).
  • Ekimmara: Power changed from 3 to 6. General change; Units with Resilience now have their Boosted Power reset when carried over to next round. Clarified the tooltip.
  • Fiend: Morvudd is an equivalent of old Fiend (except its ability rounds up). Fiend Power changed from 5 to 8. Ability rework; Deploy: If you have any Relicts in your Hand, Strengthen self by 3. Fiend became a Bronze card. Now Agile (was Melee).
  • Foglet: Power changed from 2 to 4. Each Fog applied by its owner will bring 1 Foglet (from a Deck) at a time. If there are no Foglets in the player's Deck anymore, 1 of the Foglets will be Resurrected.
  • Ghoul: Will now Consume any Bronze Unit from your Graveyard (previously Consumed a random Bronze or Silver from any Graveyard).
  • Griffin: Ability rework; Deploy: Trigger the Deathwish of a Bronze Ally.
  • Harpy: Ability rework; Counter 3: While this Unit is in your Deck, decrease the Counter whenever an Allied Beast appears. When the Counter reaches 0, play this Unit on a random row from your Deck. Note: only 1 Harpy's Counter is active at a time. Deploy: Damage the Lowest Enemy by 1. Celaeno Harpy is no longer spawning a Harpy, but Harpy Hatchlings instead.
  • Ice Giant: Power changed from 5 to 6. Will Boost self by 6 (instead of 5). Won't damage self, when the last Frost is cleared anymore.
  • Wild Hunt Rider: Power changed from 6 to 8. Ability rework; Increase by 1 the Damage dealt by Frost on the opposite row. Removed Trio ability from the game. Added Soldier Tag. Added sound effects to Wild Hunt Riders' Premium versions.
  • Wild Hunt Warrior: Power changed from 5 to 6. Will also Boost self, if the Damaged Enemy was under Frost effect (previously only when Destroyed). Now Agile (was Melee). Added Soldier Tag.
  • Wyvern: Added additional ability; If you have any Draconids in your Hand, Strengthen self by 2.

Scoia'tael[]

  • Brouver Hoog: Now additionally able to Play a Bronze Dwarf. General change; Doomed and Stubborn are no longer tags, but abilities in card's description. General change; Removed Leader tokens from Leader card preview. Added Officer Tag.

  • Emhyr var Emreis: Now plays a card, and then returns a card. General change; Doomed and Stubborn are no longer tags, but abilities in card's description.   • John Calveit: Power changed from 3 to 4. Will now be able to play any color card (previously Bronze or Silver). Clarified the tooltip.   • Daerlan Foot Soldiers: General change; Cards triggering upon Reveal now only trigger when Revealed by the owner. Added Soldier Tag.
